At House of April, every diamond and custom piece is sourced and created with purpose. Each design begins with an in-depth consultation and personalized sourcing process that ensures your diamond or jewelry selection is as intentional as the moment it represents.

Because of the highly customized nature of our work, all deposits, sourcing fees, and custom orders are non-refundable once a project or purchase has been confirmed.

We understand that investing in fine jewelry is both meaningful and significant—emotionally and financially.

That’s why we take a concierge-style approach from start to finish:

    •    We educate you on the 4Cs, certification standards, and sourcing process.

    •    We provide photos, videos, and detailed reports prior to final purchase confirmation.

    •    Every diamond is independently certified and double-checked by both our supplier and our internal quality control team before shipment.

Our goal is to ensure you feel fully informed and confident before committing to your diamond or design.

💰 Deposits & Sourcing Fees

Our process is built around customization, and the payment structure depends on the type of project.

For loose diamond sourcing only:

All stone-only projects begin with a non-refundable sourcing fee that secures your place in our queue and covers the time and labor involved in curating options from our global supplier network.

    •    $250 sourcing fee applies to projects up to 3.00 carats

    •    $500 sourcing fee applies to projects over 3.00 carats

This fee is credited toward your final purchase once you select a diamond.

(While this fee is non-refundable, it will be fully credited towards final purchase price)

For custom jewelry projects:

When creating a custom design or ring setting, a 50% deposit is required at the start of production to order materials and begin work. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to shipment or delivery.

All payments are processed securely, and you’ll receive a detailed, itemized invoice for full transparency.

🔁 Refunds & Exchanges

Because each diamond is hand-sourced to your specifications and each piece made-to-order, all sales are final once confirmed.

However, in the rare event that a diamond fails to meet our internal quality standards before shipping, we will source a replacement stone at no additional cost.

While refunds are not offered, we may review requests for exchange or store credit on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Your satisfaction and peace of mind remain our top priority.

🚚 Shipping, Insurance & International Coverage

All domestic shipments within the continental United States are fully insured and included at no additional cost.

Each package is protected from the moment it leaves our hands until it arrives safely at your door.

You will receive full tracking information once your order ships. In the rare event of a shipping issue, damage, or loss, you may file a claim directly with the carrier using the provided insurance details, and our team will assist with the process to ensure a prompt resolution.

International Orders & Giveaways

House of April covers domestic shipping within the continental U.S. for all purchases and giveaways.

International shipping, customs duties, import taxes, and delivery fees are the sole responsibility of the client or giveaway winner.

House of April assumes no liability for customs delays, restrictions, or additional international delivery fees.
